Decent, but deployment is a thing

Compared to setting up something like CivicPlus, Digit's implementation for our DIGIT Fire NOC was a bit more involved than I expected. The free open-source codebase is a big plus, but the structured pricing for support meant we spent about 27% more than initially budgeted for the setup. It works well once it's all running, but getting there took some time.

Not seeing the value for money

I was really hoping Digit's AI data tools would be a game-changer for my small business, especially with all the talk about optimizing analytics. I picked one of their packages, mostly because I saw a small discount code floating around, but even with that, it felt pretty steep. I'm always on the lookout for a good deal and ways to save, so I spent a good while comparing options. Honestly, I didn't feel like I got the 'wow' factor that would justify the cost. The features are okay, but I can't say it's significantly better than some of the more budget-friendly alternatives I've used or even tried free trials for. It just didn't feel like a smart spend for what it delivered. I'm hesitant to recommend it unless they really step up their offers or add more substantial value. Didn't feel worth the purchase in the end.

Decent, but not always consistent

I've been using Digit for a while now, probably my fourth or fifth order for various AI data tools. Usually, it's a pretty smooth experience – quick access, everything works as advertised. This last order though, it was a bit different. The particular analytics product I got felt a bit... clunky? Compared to my previous purchases, which were always super intuitive, this one took more finessing to get it integrated properly. It still works, don't get me wrong, but the 'seamless' part I've come to expect from Digit wasn't quite there this time. It makes me wonder if their quality control is slipping slightly on newer offerings or something. I'll probably still come back, but I'm definitely going to read the descriptions more carefully next time.

Always reliable for my data needs

Been using Digit for a good while now, maybe a year and a half? I've made several purchases from them for different AI analytics tools, and honestly, the consistency is what keeps me coming back. My initial order was for a specific data cleaning module, and it worked exactly as advertised. Every subsequent order, whether it was for their predictive modeling or a new visualization tool, has been just as straightforward. Never had any issues with licenses or downloads, which is a big relief compared to some other platforms I've tried in the past where activation was always a headache. It's just a solid, dependable store for anyone serious about AI data stuff.

Pretty decent overall

Finally decided to give Digit a try for some AI analytics stuff for my side project. The website was easy enough to navigate, found what I needed without too much hassle. The actual product seems to be doing what it says on the tin, which is always good. My only minor gripe was that the activation email took a little longer than I expected to come through, kinda had me checking my spam folder a few times lol. But once it arrived, everything was smooth sailing. Would probably use them again if I need more AI tools.

Digit is AMAZING for AI data!

Oh my gosh, I just have to shout about Digit! I was looking for something to really amp up my AI data analytics, and I found Digit-software.com. From the moment I hit their site, I knew it was going to be good, but it totally BLEW MY EXPECTATIONS OUT OF THE WATER! The product I got is absolutely incredible, super powerful and so easy to use. My projects have already seen a massive boost. Seriously, if you're in AI and need data tools, you HAVE to check them out. I'm definitely shopping here again, and I've already told all my friends in the industry. You won't regret it!

Really impressed, exceeded expectations!

Finally decided to give Digit a try for some AI analytics tools I needed for a side project. Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything groundbreaking at this price point, but I was pleasantly surprised. The interface is pretty intuitive, which is a huge plus because I'm not super technical. I had a small hiccup during the initial account setup – the activation email took about 15 minutes to arrive, which felt a bit long when you're eager to get started. But once that was sorted, everything else was smooth sailing. The data processing speed is actually quite fast, much better than some other services I've tried. I've been running a few different models and the results are consistent. Definitely feels like good value for what you'm getting. Will be sticking with them for a while, I think.

Thinking of requesting a free demo for Digit ERP. Our current system is ancient. Anyone have tips on what to focus on during the demo or specific questions to ask?

N NikhilS 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
Definitely ask about their AI native platform features. We got a demo last month, and the predictive analytics for inventory management looked very promising. Also, inquire about their API Gateway if you have existing systems you need to connect.
5
P PoojaR 1 week ago
Good point on the API Gateway. We have a lot of legacy stuff. Did they mention anything about a sandbox environment for testing integrations?
1
N NikhilS 1 week ago
Yes, they do offer sandbox access. It's really helpful for developers. Make sure to ask for it.
5
R Rahul87 1 week ago
Ask them about the deployment timeline and support structure after implementation. We used them for HRMS and Payroll, and while the system is good, ongoing support response times can vary.
9
P PoojaR 1 week ago
Oh, that's a key concern. How long did your HRMS deployment take?
7
C coolboy88 1 week ago
Make sure to specifically ask about the pricing model. They have different tiers, and it can get complex. Also, check if they offer any municipal discounts or non-profit pricing if that applies to your organization.
7
C coolboy88 1 week ago
Not really a full free trial for the ERP, but the demo is quite extensive. For some specific modules, I think there's a community edition available for free, but it's limited.
8
P PoojaR 1 week ago
That's crucial. Our budget is tight. Do they ever offer free trials beyond just the demo?
3
T techfreak 1 week ago
Yeah, the community edition is mostly for developers to play around with, not for full operational use.

Anyone get a municipal discount on Digit ERP implementation lately?

Yeah, we got some significant implementation support credits last quarter. Talk to their sales.

Our city just did the free demo and they offered a specific municipal discount after that. Worth trying.

Finally got Digit Property Tax implemented in our ward. The process was a bit slower than expected but glad it's up and running.

N Nikhil 1 month ago
Anyone else using the Property Tax module? We're having some issues with integrating it with our existing finance system. Did you face similar challenges?
1
R RaviK 1 month ago
We used their API Gateway for integration. Took some dev work but it's stable now.

That's great to hear, Ravi. How long did the whole deployment take for your municipality? We're still in the planning phase for ours and trying to set realistic expectations.
0
R RaviK 1 month ago
Honestly, it took about 4 months from initial kickoff to go-live. A lot of back and forth on data migration.
7
R RaviK 1 month ago
Yeah, pretty much everything. Training was good though, the Field Employee App is pretty intuitive.
6
P PriyaS 1 month ago
Wow, 4 months is quite a bit. Was that including the initial setup and training?

Glad it's working out for you! We're looking at Digit Sanitation for our city. Did you get any municipal discount or government grant pricing? Trying to figure out the budget.
3

Yes, we did get a municipal discount. Definitely ask their sales team about it. It made a significant difference.

Just got Digit for our municipal water department, feeling a bit overwhelmed with the setup. Anyone have tips for implementing DIGIT Water and Sewerage efficiently?

P PriyaK 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Hey Rajat, welcome aboard! We implemented the Water and Sewerage module last year. The key for us was to start with a very clear data migration plan. Don't rush that part. Also, leverage their sandbox environment heavily for testing your specific workflows before going live. It saved us a lot of headaches.

S Suresh88 1 month ago
Following this, we're eyeing Digit for our property tax and sanitation next year.
5
P PriyaK 1 month ago
Definitely use the credits! Our team got a lot of value from the training sessions they offered. It sped up user adoption for us.
1
A AnkitM 1 month ago
Good point on the sandbox. Did you use their implementation support credits? Wondering if they're actually helpful or just a sales gimmick.
2
M Meera 1 month ago
We found setting up the DIGIT Data Exchange module early on was crucial for integrating with our legacy systems. Don't underestimate the time needed for that.
7
R Rahul 1 month ago
Is it compliant with local government regulations everywhere? That's a big concern for us.
7
R RajatS 1 month ago
Thanks, that's a good reminder. We have a few old systems that need to talk to it.
4
D Deepak91 1 month ago
Our municipality used Digit ERP for Property Tax a few years back. The initial data entry and mapping existing processes was the biggest hurdle. Make sure your team gets good training, especially on the DIGIT Workflow Engine if you plan on customizing anything.
8
R RajatS 1 month ago
The workflow engine sounds complex. Is it user-friendly for non-tech staff?
5
C coolboy88 1 month ago
We're trying to figure out if we need on-premise installation or cloud. Any thoughts?
4
D Deepak91 1 month ago
It's not super simple, but once you get the hang of it, it's powerful. We had a couple of dedicated people handle the initial setup and then train others.
